With a view to create awareness about mental health issues, Deputy Commissioner Bhupesh Chandra Das flagged off an awareness rally on the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day organised on Friday under the aegis of District Mental Health Program, District Health Society, Sonitpur. ADC (Health) Banti Talukdar, Jt Dir Health Services, Dr. J Ahmed and other senior officials of the district administration and health department were present on the occasion.
Also, the Department of Psychiatric Nursing, LGBRIMH Tezpur observed the World Suicide prevention day at its premises with day long awareness programme.
