On occasion of the 74th foundation day of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, a meeting was held in the presence of several students of Darrang College and Tezpur College unit on 09th July i.e. Saturday.
Rupshri Gogoi, National Executive Council member and girls’ in-charge of ABVP Assam Pradesh and Dr Hemantajyoti Nath, Hod of Geography dept. graced as chief Guests in the meeting.The ABVP, founded in 1948 with the initiative of the RSS activist Balraj Madhok, was formally registered on 9 July 1949.
AVBP is a right-wing all India student organisation affiliated to the Hindu nationalist – Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). It is the largest student organisation in India with more than 3 million members.
