Tezpur, 7th August 2021: Acting on a source information, a team of Sonitpur police led by S. Suklabaidya, Asp Dy. SP (B), conducted a search operation at the house of Saidul Haque, S/O Kudrash Ali, a resident of Gutlung area under Tezpur PS, (Mohabhairab OP).
Through the operation conducted on 05th August, 2021 at around 12.30 pm, around 3.8 kgs of Cannabis (Ganja) was recovered fromthe possession of Faijul Islam, S/O Munnsah Ali of Gudamghat PS Chariduar.
Sonitpur Police has been constantly engaged in its fight against the illegal possession of drugs and has recovered appreciable quantities of varieties.
