Tezpur, May 9 : The Regional Meteorological Centre, Guwahati on Sunday issued weather forecast alert for next 5 days in Assam.
As per the notification of IMD Guwahati, Sonitpur District is likely to hit by thunderstorms accompanied by Rainfall over next 5 days. On day 1 (9th May), few places of Sonitpur District likely to receive light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms (Precipitation – 25 to 50%), on day 2 (10th May) most of the parts of Sonitpur District is likely to hit by thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds and moderate rainfall, on day 3 (11th May), likely to receive light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, day 4 to remain clear, day 5 – likely to receive light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms.
