Tezpur, June 5 : District Tobacco Control cell in collaboration with District Legal Service Authority, Sonitpur celebrated World Environment Day in correlation with World No Tobacco Day, 2022 on Sunday .
An Art competition was organized for the same with the theme “Tobacco Threat To our Environment” followed by Plantation drive and awareness cum prize distribution ceremony.

Nazrana Rahman, SDJM, Sonitpur, Tezpur Sazidur Rahman, District Coordinator, District legal Services Authority, Sonitpur, Tezpur, Dr Sunanda Tamuly, District Nodal officer, DTCC, Sonitpur, Dr Pradeep Nath, District oral health officer, KCH,Tezpur, Priyanka Kakati from the Union and other Staff from Joint Director of health were present in the meeting. Students from different schools of Sonitpur district have participated in the meeting.
