A preparatory meeting on ASOMI SARAS MELA-2022, Tezpur chaired by Deputy Commissioner Bhupesh Chandra Das was held on Wednesday at the New Conference Hall of DC’s Office. State Mission Director, ASRLM, Krishna Baruah, ACS, District Development Commissioner, Dipshikha Dey, Asst Commissioners Namrata Das, EO, TMB, line department officials, ASRLM officials and various other stakeholders were also present in the meeting.
Various issues related to venue, transportation, security, IEC for awareness, planning of additional activities were discussed in the meeting. It was decided to form a district level coordination committee for smooth conduct of the upcoming mela, which is going to see participation of various SHGs from other states of the country.
