Tezpur, April 3 : Heavy Rain accompanied with hailstones hit Tezpur on Saturday evening around 9:15 PM.
It may be noted that, Indian Meteorological Department issued hailstorm alert in several states including Assam and that Dibrugarh and few other towns witnessed extensive damage on Thursday night.
Till now, no severe damages have been reported from Tezpur and adjoining. The hailstorm hit Tezpur at around 9:15 PM and lead to immediate Power Outage across the City. While electricity was up in several parts of Tezpur, it is yet to be completely restored.
