Tezpur, Dec 01 : Along with the rest of the world, in Tezpur too, World Aids Day 2021 was observed on Wednesday with an awareness rally and awareness meeting organized by Sonitpur District Health Society in collaboration wih District Legal Services Authority, Sonitpur, Tezpur and Indian Medical Association, Tezpur Branch.
Deputy Commissioner of Sonitpur, Shri Bhupesh Chandra Das flagged off the awareness rally in presence of District and Session Judge, Sonitpur, Chatra Bhukhon Gogoi, Superintendent KCH Dr T B Chetry, Dr Hiranjan Saikia.

The theme of World AIDS Day 2021 is “End inequalities. End AIDS”. This World AIDS Day, UNAIDS is highlighting the urgent need to end the inequalities that drive AIDS and other pandemics around the world.
