Tezpur, Nov 21 : The Darrang Division of the Dept. of Posts held a special Aadhar camp for the specially abled at Tezpur’s Missionaries of Charity premises.
A total of 94 female residents of the Charity aged around 15 years to 75 years were benefited by the initiative. One of the sources while speaking to Tezpur Buzz mentioned that since the residents were homeless and do not possess any documents, permanent addresse, they could not apply for the Aadhar card which is a requisite document for many purposes. But the Dept. of Posts, through a special camp has made it possible.
The sisters maintaining the Charity expressed their heartfelt gratitude and thanked all the members of the department for such benevolent service.
