Tezpur : NEMSU members meet SP of Sonitpur with request to put end to illegal gambling & drugs issue

North-east Minorities Students’ Union(NEMSU), Sonitpur District Committee forwarded a memorandum of understanding to the newly appointed SP of Sonitpur District with a request to put an end to illegal gambling, illicit alcohol and drugs in Sonitpur District.

These evil activities have influenced today’s youth in a very negative way. Therefore, NEMSU has come forward with a sheer will and urge to tackle it.

NEMSU also sent the memorandum of understanding to the Director General of Assam Police via an email.
