Tezpur, June 13 : For the first time ever since the outbreak of the ghastly Covid-19 pandemic, residents of the BuraChapori village were facilitated with a Mobile Vaccination Centre on 12th June ’21 by the efforts of Tezpur MLA Sri Prithiraj Rabha, as restrictions on inter-district movement has been a serious constraint for the locals residing.
The Hon’ble MLA has extended warm regards to the locals and also praised the District Administration, Joint-Director of Health for actively granting all necessary permissions for the setup.
The Burachapori village, which falls under Tezpur Constituency is situated over 40 kms from the Tezpur city and residents had to cross the Brahmaputra river, or travel through the Kalia Bhomora bridge to reach the vaccination centres in Tezpur.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of SDM Durlov Saikia and over 750 plus citizens got vaccinated (Covishield) making citizens largely appreciable towards the initiative.
