09 December, Thursday: On occasion of the 75th birthday of Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi, members of Sonitpur District Youth Congress honoured and felicitated female freedom fighters and social workers of the district with a ‘gamusa’ and ‘Maan potro’ to their families.
The day was celebrated in her honour as Mahila Samman Diwas-“महिला सम्मान दिवस“.
Shri Praneel Saikia Honourable Treasurer, Sonitpur District Freedom Fighter Association was also present in the program.
