Tezpur, Aug 12 : Acting on a tip off, a trap -raid was conducted at Bhomraguri near Samaroh Dhaba on Thursday by Sonitpur Police.
During the raid One soap case containing 10 gm suspected brown sugar was recovered from the possession of Mojibur Rahman 34 yrs S/O Nurul Amin of Bhajkhowa PS-Tezpur (Borghat OP).
Based on his statement, another raid was conducted at the house Abdul Sahid, 3O yrs S/O Abdul Rahim of Batsmari, PS-Tezpur (Borghat OP).
During the search, one plastic container containing 15 ml liquid suspected brown sugar and three Nos empty plastic containers were found. Abdul Sahid was found absent in his house.
Sonitpur Police has said that they have begun the necessary formalities like model FIR, establishing backward and forward linkages etc.
