Oxygen concentrators donated by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation to Tezpur Medical College

Tezpur, June 27 : The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Assam had recently handed over fifty oxygen concentrators to Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in an attempt to assist the Government of Assam in its fight against the pandemic. The Chief Minister immediately instructed NHM Assam to acknowledge the receipt of the same and put them to use as deemed fit. Following the directives of the Chief Minister, the NHM today sent thirty oxygen concentrators from the lot to the Tezpur Medical College (TMCH) which will be used for treating COVID and Post COVID patients totally free of cost.

The function was attended by the Principal, Dy Superintendent and other senior professors of TMCH who thanked the organisation for the humanitarian gesture. Also present at the occasion were Sri Bijoy Bora (District President – Sonitpur, SSSSO Assam), Sri Dhritiman Baruah  (District President – Darrang, SSSSO Assam), Prof Dharmendra Sarma (Convenor, Tezpur) and Dr PK Sarma (Senior devotee) among other members of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Assam.
