25th January, Tuesday: The Akhil Assam Bhojpuri Parishad, established in the year 2008 works on central and all Assam level for the development of Bhojpuri samaj. The Bhojpuri samaj has a population of approx 36 lakhs in all over Assam and approx 3 lakhs people are residing in Sonitpur district. Now, after a long time Tezpur Branch Committee of Akhil Assam Bhojpuri parishad has been formed on dated 23.01.2022 for the socio-economic and cultural development of Bhojpuri Samaj.
It is a non political organization working for the development of Bhojpuri Samaj all over Assam. The organization has a mission to strengthen the Bhojpuri samaj so that they can help in nation building.
A new commitee has been recently formed with 21 members. President Dr. Anushabda, Department of Hindi, Tezpur University andSecretary Mr. Chandan Prasad Sharma and all other members said together that the first priority of this parishad is the overall development of our Bhojpuri samaj residing in Tezpur.The parishad, as they mentioned would be bound to listen the voice of Bhojpuri samaj and act accordingly. Any member of this samaj can contact us without any hesitation for their problems and they will collectively work together on that.
