Tezpur, May 02 : The counting of Assam Assembly Elections 2021 got underway on Sunday morning along with other 4 states – West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry in accordance with all Covid-19 protocols set by Election Commission of India. BJP led alliance is all set to form the Government in Assam after winning the majority seats.
In Tezpur, after a neck to neck fight with Congress’ Dr. Anuj Mech, Prithiraj Rabha who represented Asom Gana Parishad, clinched the victory with a margin of 9853 votes.
