Tezpur, June 3 : In a bid to fight against Covid-19 Pandemic, Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH) started Covid Vaccine Drive for Homeless persons with Mental illness on 1st June.
Homeless patients are identified by Local Police and brought to LGBRIMH Facility where they get admission. On 1st June, around 16 such persons were given the first Jab of Covishield Vaccine.
Public Relations Officer of LGBRIMH Tezpur, while speaking to Tezpur Buzz said that, the identification and Vaccination drive of Homeless persons with Mental illness will continue to happen in their fight against the ghastly Pandemic. He also added that more than 130 health workers of LGBRIMH have been Vaccinated so far.
