A coordination meeting of district administration and police was held in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office here late on Sunday evening under the chairmanship of DC Manvendra Pratap Singh, to discuss the steps required to be taken to bring the Covid situation under control in the district.
The DC directed the OCs/ICs to strictly enforce all Covid19 guidelines, disperse all kinds of crowds and gatherings, enforce odd/even vehicle rule and others. He directed the health department officials to increase testing in places which have seen a spike in the number of cases and depute medical staff to monitor each and every patient who has tested positive, whether in a Covid Care Centre or at home isolation. He laid stress on containing the disease in rural areas.
