Field Day was celebrated and rice evaluation was conducted in the agricultural field of Barigaon under Jamuguri Agriculture Circle through the initiative of the Sonitpur District Agriculture Department. The event, organized under the National Food Security Mission (NFSM) scheme, focused on the Ranjit Sab 1 paddy fields. Present at the event were Naduwa Samjila Commissioner Mr. Raj Barua, Assistant Commissioner Mrs. Debangana Mohan, Chakra Officer Mr. Rajnish Sharma, District Agriculture Officer Mr. Pranjal Sharma, Subdivision Agriculture Officer Dr. Zakir Hussain, National Food Security Mission District Coordinator Mr. Nekib Ahmed, and Jamuguri and Silabandha Agricultural Development Officer Mrs. Nitumani Mahanta, along with the concerned officials.
This gathering provided an opportunity for farmers, officials, and agricultural experts to evaluate the progress of the Ranjit Sab 1 paddy fields. The presence of these dignitaries highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting sustainable agricultural practices and food security.
