Assam : Here’s what you need to know about Marking criteria for HS Final Result
The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has recently announced the marking criteria for the class 12 students of Assam board. The HS exam of the state was cancelled on 18th of June after which two committees were formed to decide and finalize the base for evaluation. As per the announcement the class 12 results will be based on the results of class 10 board , class 12 final practical and internal assignment of 11 and 12. The percentage from each category are as follows-
For students of Arts and Science with practical subs:
50 marks to be calculated from 50% of best 3 subjects in HSLC/equivalent exam.
30 marks to be calculated on the basis of practical exam conducted by institutions.
10 marks to be calculated from class test/unit test/pre-test/assignment/project works/attendance during 2019-21 session.
10% marks to be allotted on the basis of marks obtained out of 90 marks in above mentioned 3 components.
Students with non practical subjects (Arts/Commerce):
50 marks to be calculated from 50% of best 3 subjects in HSLC/equivalent exam.
40 marks to be calculated on basis of marks in class test/unit test/annual exam/pre-test/assignment/project etc.
Attendance of 2019-21 session to be calculated.
10% marks to be allotted on the basis of marks obtained out of 90 marks in above mentioned 3 components.
Vocational stream:
50 marks to be calculated from 50% of best 3 subjects in HSLC/equivalent exam.
40% marks from practical exam conducted by institutions.
10 marks to be allotted on the basis of marks out of 90 in above mentioned components.
