A successful Tennis Clinic was conducted on 20th May at the Tezpur Tennis Foundation with the objective of promoting tennis development and encouraging greater participation in the sport among young players.
The clinic was jointly organised by Indian Tennis Academy, Kolkata and Orange Ball Tennis Academy, Jorhat in collaboration with the Tezpur Tennis Foundation. The programme focused on skill development, technical training, and overall exposure to the game for students of the foundation.
As part of the initiative promoting inclusion through the power of sport, a special tennis session was also conducted for five underprivileged children from the Gutlong Gaon Radio Centre, a locality in Tezpur under Sonitpur district. The children were introduced to the basics of tennis, and T-shirts were distributed to them.
The initiative reflected the collective effort towards nurturing young talent and promoting social inclusion through sport.
