The event, held at the Bipin Pal Das Memorial Stage of Darrang College, commemorated the death anniversary of legendary cultural icon Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha while recognizing students who scored 60% and above in their HSLC and Higher Secondary examinations.

Prithiraj Rabha, MLA of Tezpur Constituency (No. 72) and son of Rabha Dangoriya, served as the chief guest for the occasion. His presence added special significance to the celebration of his father’s legacy.
The program featured distinguished speakers including Dr. Palash Moni Saikia, Principal of Darrang College – often called the “Nalanda of North Bank” – and Dr. Manoj Kumar Hazarika, Principal of Tezpur College. Both educators emphasized the importance of academic excellence and cultural values in shaping young minds.
