ASCPCR Officials visit Tezpur to assess the conditions of differently – abled children infected by COVID-19

In a recent, a total of 16 patients were found Covid positive in Tezpur’s Missionaries of Charity on Saturday of which most of the patients were differently-abled children. Four vehicles of Team 108 took the task of completing the case and handing over the patients at Tezpur Medical College & Hospital (TMCH) within no time.

rights (ASCPCR) was on her daylong visit to Tezpur, Assam today on 27th of June 2021 to take the stock of the COVID-19 infected children at Missionaries of Charity, Tezpur.

ASCPCR member discussed the prevailing issue of the differently able children infected by COVID-19 at Missionaries of Charity with the Deputy Commissioner Sonitpur along with ADC health, Child Welfare committee Chairperson, Members,JJB Member and District Child Protection officer.

The meeting urged the MOC CCI authorities to abide by the COVID-19 protocols to contain the spread of the virus further in the institution.

Later, towards the day, ASCPCR member visited Tezpur Medical College & hospital and assessed the prevailing conditions of the differently abled children infected by COVID-19 and had a proactive discussion with the ADC (Health), ADC (Social Welfare), Superintendent TMCH, Jt Director of Health Services, Sonitpur, doctors, District Child Protection officer & Protection officer (Institutional Care).
