Tezpur University will hold its 22nd Convocation on December 27, 2024, to confer degrees and diplomas upon the students who have successfully completed their degrees and diplomas. Prof. Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman, University Grants Commission, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and deliver the Convocation Address.
Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Hon’ble Governor of Assam and the Chancellor of the University, will preside over the Convocation ceremony. He will award the Degrees, Diplomas, and Medals to the students at the Kendriya Vidyalaya of the University.
More than 1300 students shall be awarded during the 22nd Convocation. As of now, the University will confer Master’s degrees to 799, Bachelor’s degrees to 365, and Diplomas to 14 eligible students. In addition, 126 scholars will receive Ph.D. degrees, and 50 toppers will be honored with gold medals. 51 students who completed degrees through distance and online mode will also be awarded during the solemn occasion.
