Tezpur : Photo Exhibition on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and 8 Years of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan held at Baan Theatre, Tezpur

Tezpur, Jan 9 : The Central Bureau of Communication, Guwahati, under The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India organised a 3-day Photo Exhibition on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and 8 Years of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan in the historic Baan Theatre, in Tezpur from 6th January to 8th January, 2023.

Shri Pallab Lochan Das, MP, Tezpur inaugurated the exhibition. He visited the exhibition which displayed more than 40 panels on the Unsung heroes of the Northeast and also on the schemes and initiatives of the Central Government in the last 8 years.

Shri Prithiraj Rabha, MLA, Tezpur, also visited the Photo Exhibition and applauded the activities carried out by CBC. Other dignitaries like Shri Arijit Chakraborty, Deputy Director, CBC, Guwahati, Shri Bhupen Sharma, eminent actor and teacher, Tezpur and Shri Bhabananda Das, Vice Chairman, Baan Theatre, Tezpur were also present at the inaugural ceremony.

The Departmental artistes of Song and Drama Division under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and Private Registered Troupe also presented various cultural performances in the inaugural ceremony.

Activities like quiz and art competition among students and visitors were held in the Photo Exhibition.
