Rangapara College was awarded the District Green Champion Certificate by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Dept of Higher Education, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India at an online ceremony held today during a District Level Cluster Workshop on Swachta Action Plan held via Google Meet, where Deputy Commissioner Bhupesh Chandra Das was present as Chief Guest.
Rangapara College has been recognized as District Green Champion of Sonitpur district for the Academic year 2020-21 for successfully setting up the Swachchta Action Plan Committee, adopting and implementing the best practices in the areas of sanitation, hygiene, waste management, water management, energy management and greenery management.
