Tezpur, 24 February 2025: The Tezpur Police Department and the family of Shri Diya Biswas are urgently seeking public assistance in locating the 16-year-old student who went missing on Monday morning while on her way to appear for the HSLC Examination.
Diya was last seen leaving her residence in Bhitor Khuti (Milan Nagar) at approximately 8:00 AM on February 24, wearing her blue school uniform. She was headed to Tezpur Collegiate High School to appear for her HSLC Examination. By 9:00 AM, school authorities confirmed to her parents that Diya had not arrived for her scheduled examination.
Her unexplained absence has sparked concern, as this behaviour is entirely out of character for the student. Her parents conducted an extensive search of the school premises and surrounding areas but have been unable to locate her.
