Ministry of Education urges for the postponement of offline exams scheduled in the month of May, 2021

In light of the second wave of Covid and the safety of students, the Ministry of Education has urged for the postponement of all the offline exams that were scheduled to be held in the month of May, 2021.

A letter has been addressed to all the centrally funded institutions by the secretary of higher education Shri Amrit Khare regarding this postponement.

However, no such requests are made to discontinue online examinations. The ministry further urged the institutions to provide necessary help to anyone in the institution in need as of to help them out of their distress at the earliest.

The ministry also asked them to encourage the eligible ones for vaccination and to ensure that the Covid-19 protocols are properly followed for safety.
