Balipara, January 12: Aakrit Upadhyay clinched the gold medal in the Under 18 KG weight category at the 5th All Assam Inter-District Taekwondo Championship 2024-25. The event, held from January 10 to 12 at the Balipara H.S. School Playground, was organized by the Taekwondo Association of Sonitpur and hosted by Warriors Academy.
The championship saw fierce competition, with talented participants from various districts across Assam showcasing their martial arts prowess. Aakrit’s exceptional technique and perseverance were evident throughout the matches, earning them the top spot and bringing pride to their district.
