Tezpur, May 5 : A low magnitude Earthquake measuring 3.5 on Richter scale hit near Tezpur at around 7:22 PM on Wednesday.
As per National Center for Seismology, the Earthquake struck 40 Km West of Tezpur at a depth of 27 KM, Latitude of 26.68 N, Long: 92.39 E.
