NACCI Elects New Leadership as It Prepares for 75th Anniversary Celebration
The North Assam Chamber of Commerce and Industries (NACCI) has elected its new executive committee, marking a fresh chapter for the organization. The first meeting of the newly elected members took place on July 5th at the NACCI auditorium. Dipendar Joshi was unanimously elected as President, with Prashant Bengani as Secretary. Other key positions include Paras Nath Ray as Senior Vice President, Navneet Pareek as Additional Secretary, Shankar Tak and Jay Prakash Mishra as Vice Presidents, Ritesh Misruf as Deputy Secretary, and Mahendra Sewda as Treasurer. The meeting, which began with an oath-taking ceremony, was facilitated by Rajendra Bhati as officiating Chairman and Rajesh Jalan as officiating secretary.
This year marks NACCI’s 75th anniversary, and plans are underway for a grand Amrit Mahotsav celebration. Rajesh Jalan has been appointed as the Chairman of the 75th Year Celebration Committee to ensure a memorable commemoration. Additionally, several new executive members were elected to the assembly, including Ankit Mantri, Basant Saraf, Bikram Kalita, Bedabrata Goswami, Naval Kishore Rai, Saurajit Dutt Roy, Sandeep Aggarwal, and Shyam Sundar Maheshwari.
President Joshi expressed his gratitude for the confidence placed in his leadership and looked forward to the full cooperation of all members in the coming term. The meeting concluded with the singing of the national anthem “Jangan Mangal” and was adjourned until the next scheduled gathering. This new leadership team is set to guide NACCI through its landmark 75th year and beyond, focusing on the continued growth and development of the business community in North Assam.
