Tezpur, July 02 : In view of the decision taken in the 7th weekly Cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Hon’ble CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on June 30, 2021, to set up more mobile tower networks in the state to enable seamless mobile connectivity so that the students can keep attending online classes without difficulties, a meeting was convened at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Thursday under the chairmanship of DC Bhupesh Chandra Das in the presence of ADCs Sanjib Doloi, Dyotiva Bora, all Circle Officers, BDOs, APDCL officials, representatives of telecom services, ABITA officials.
They were directed to take up necessary steps to ensure mobile network connectivity is made available in even the remotest schools and villages of the district so that students’ classes are not hampered.
