The Office of the Superintendent of Police Golaghat, Assam has implemented new traffic regulations in response to flooding in Kaziranga National Park. These measures aim to protect wildlife and ensure public safety. Effective July 1, commercial vehicles are prohibited from traveling through Kaziranga National Park. Private vehicles may pass through the park during daylight hours at regulated speeds, while only local private vehicles are permitted to cross the park at night. Commercial vehicles will be diverted at key points including Numaligarh Tiniali, Bagori border, and Bokakhat Town. Officers-in-Charge of Numaligarh Rural PS and Kamargaon PS will oversee diversions at Numaligarh Tiniali, redirecting commercial vehicles towards Karbi Anglong.
