In a remarkable achievement, Tritee Ranjana, a resident of Tezpur and Class 5 student at Tezpur Gurukul School, has emerged as a standout contestant on the popular television show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), winning Rs 25 lakh and capturing hearts nationwide.
The young prodigy from Tezpur demonstrated exceptional knowledge by correctly answering 13 out of 15 questions on the show, competing against contestants from various states. Her selection for the hot seat itself was a significant accomplishment. For Tritee, being selected in the Fastest Finger First round remains her most cherished memory from the show
The multi-talented Tezpur resident not only showcased her intellectual prowess but also demonstrated her martial arts skills, performing Taekwondo moves with Amitabh Bachchan himself. When asked about the secret to her success, Tritee credited her extensive reading habits and curiosity for learning. “I read a lot of books, newspapers, and spend time surfing the internet,” she explained, also acknowledging her mother’s role in her educational journey.
The achievement has brought immense pride to Tezpur, with her parents – mother Nandini Barthakur and father Dr. Tridib Sharma, a professor at Tezpur University – beaming with pride at their daughter’s national television success.
