Tezpur, 04 August ’21 : Based on secret information, Sonitpur Police on conducting an operation recovered one Selerio Car bearing Reg No. AS12Z 2783 which was used for carrying illicit IMFL at Bhotpara NH-15.
Police apprehended one person namely Papu Gupta S/O – Sri Kameshwar Gupta of Ward No -3 P.S – Dhekiajuli, Dist – Sonitpur at Surjyapur center under Dhekiajuli PS area. During the search, police recovered 09 cases of Beer and 102 nos of bottles of IMFL.
The aprehended person along with seized IMFL and the vehicle were later handed over to excise department for further legal action.
