Tezpur, May 01 : It seems that the Citizens of Tezpur don’t just have Covid-19 Pandemic and Earthquake in their bucket but also going through significant heat wave conditions.
On Friday (30th April), the temperature soared to 37.3 °c in Tezpur, a further rise of 1.3 °c than Thursday’s recorded Temperature.
The Indian Meteorological Department, Guwahati in their official weather report said that, total of 5 cities crossed 37 °c on April 30. Agartala recored the highest temperature at 38°c in entire North East India.
With Tezpur recording 37.3 °c, it became the hottest Day for the City in the year 2021.
