In the course of a robbery case investigation, Nagaon police shockingly exposed a racket creating fake government and other certificates on a massive scale.
The police team managed to recover around 10-12 thousand bogus certificates. The fraudsters have been forging certificates related to schools, colleges, universities, rents deposits, births or deaths.
One person identified as Maqbool Hussain, 54, a resident of Madhupur, has been arrested in this connection. However, the main accused in the case is still running off.
