Local Organizations Provide Essential Aid to Flood Victims in Tezpur

Local organizations in Tezpur, have stepped up to provide crucial aid to flood-affected families. On 11th July, The Socialist Organization and EMM Hospital, Tezpur joined forces to distribute essential supplies to approximately 60-70 families, benefiting around 250-300 individuals. The aid package included food staples like rice, dal, and potatoes, as well as hygiene products and other necessities such as candles and water.

Trishanu Bhuyan, President of The Socialist Organization, informed the media that this initiative is not a one-time effort. The organizations plan to continue providing assistance in phases until the end of the disaster. He also expressed hope for divine help and a swift recovery for all affected people in Assam during these challenging times.

The youth volunteers from Tezpur involved in this relief effort have called upon the wider community to join them in supporting those in distress.
