
RTC SSB Salonibari has once again demonstrated its standing as a centre of sporting excellence, as its Central Archery Team returned with an impressive nine-medal haul from the 14th All India Police Archery Championship, held at the 1st Battalion CAF from 23 to 27 February 2026.

The team secured three gold, two silver, and four bronze medals across the five-day competition, competing against archery units drawn from police and paramilitary forces across the country. The result placed RTC SSB Salonibari’s archers among the most decorated participants of the tournament.
The performance is widely regarded as a reflection of the rigorous training environment and structured coaching programmes in place at RTC SSB Salonibari. The professional guidance provided by the coaching staff played a central role in preparing the team for the high standards of national-level competition, enabling them to perform consistently across multiple disciplines throughout the championship.

This achievement is regarded as a matter of great pride, reflecting the discipline, dedication and competitive spirit displayed by the archers, and bringing honour to RTC SSB Salonibari. The strong performance is also expected to inspire younger recruits at RTC SSB Salonibari who aspire to represent the force at the national level.
