The Assam government has announced the schedule for its upcoming Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE), a significant initiative aimed at filling thousands of Grade III and Grade IV posts in various state departments. Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma made the announcement during a Facebook Live session, detailing the three-stage selection process that candidates will undergo.
The ADRE for Grade III positions, which offers more than 7,500 vacancies, will kick off with preliminary examinations scheduled for September 15, 22, and 29. Meanwhile, the Grade IV recruitment drive, covering over 4,500 posts, will begin its preliminary phase on October 20 and 27. Following these initial rounds, successful candidates will proceed to the Mains examination and subsequently to the final Viva stage. This comprehensive approach underscores the government’s commitment to a thorough and fair selection process for these coveted positions in the state’s administrative machinery.
