
The Amateur Taekwondo Academy has emerged as the standout performer at the recently concluded 2nd Assam Sanskriti Utsav 2025, showcasing exceptional skill and determination to secure an impressive medal haul. The prestigious event was held at Jyoti Bharati (Poki) in Tezpur and was organized by Natraj Kala Kendra, Tezpur.
The academy’s talented athletes demonstrated remarkable prowess on the mat, clinching a total of 19 medals – 7 gold, 6 silver, and 6 bronze – firmly establishing their dominance in the taekwondo scene.

Among the stellar performers was Mridusmita Mahanta, who was honored with the “Best Fighter Female” award. Mahanta’s exceptional technique, strategic approach, and sporting spirit throughout the competition earned her this distinguished recognition.
