Tezpur, 04th Nov: The Sonitpur District Administration on Thursday imposed restrictions regarding use and sale of firecrackers under Section 144 of Cr.P.C in Sonitpur district.
Owing to possibilities of miscreants/antisocial elements taking advantage of high sound producing cracker and trying to indulge in acts of violence under cover of such sound and also for pollution related issues, the restrictions were imposed so that there is no breach of public peace and tranquility.
