Tezpur, Sep 30 : The Addl. District Magistrate, Tezpur, Sonitpur has directed the officials of Tezpur Medical College and Hospital to preserve an unclaimed female dead body for a period of 72 hours with effect from September 30,2021 in order to facilitate identification/ claim by family member/legal guardian of the deceased and subsequently hand over the same to the legal guardian/family member of the deceased.
It is also directed that during this period ASI Mohibul Ali of i/c Traffic Chariduar, IO of the case will take all possible measures for identification of the dead body by sending information to all police stations & out posts of Assam through W.T. message will full description of dead body.
