Tezpur : DC reviews infrastructure development works of Mahabhairab Temple

Tezpur, August 29 : Deputy Commissioner Bhupesh Chandra Das on Saturday paid a visit to Mahabhairab Mandir to review various works being carried out. He interacted with the members of the mandir committee and took stock of the various schemes being currently implemented for infrastructure development of Mahabhairab Mandir premises. Superintendent of Police Dr. Dhananjay Ghanawat also joined the discussion.

The meeting decided to finish construction of the Jatri Niwas, which is bring built at a cost of Rs. 25 lakhs under Untied Fund, at the earliest in order to make the facility available for the public. Also it was decided to expedite the other ongoing works at the temple premises. It may be noted that work on renovation of rest room for purohits of the mandir, along with construction of a saki ghar are currently underway at the temple premises.
