Tezpur, October 22, 2025 (Wednesday): District Commissioner (DC) Shri Ananda Kumar Das carried out a series of inspection visits yesterday (October 21, 2025), to review healthcare and education services in Naduar. The visits were aimed at assessing ground-level conditions and improving public service delivery for local residents.
The first stop was the Sootea Model Hospital, where DC reviewed the hospital’s infrastructure, availability of doctors, medical supplies, and patient care facilities. He interacted with patients and attendants to understand their experience and expectations. Shri Ananda Kumar Das was accompanied by Co-District Commissioner of Naduar Shri Manash Kumar Saikia, Sootea Municipal Board Chairperson Smti. Deepsikha Handique, Assistant Commissioner of Naduar Smti. Dibanga Mohan, and other officials.
DC Shri Ananda Kumar Das and his team later visited the Jamuguri Subsidiary Health Centre to examine its daily operations and service quality. The DC spoke with medical staff, patients, and guardians, noting their feedback and suggestions for better healthcare delivery.
DC Shri Ananda Kumar Das also inspected Jamuguri Model LP & Jamuguri HS School. During the school visits, the team reviewed student attendance, teacher availability, infrastructure, and overall performance.
The inspection drive reflected the administration’s focus on improving essential public services and addressing issues through direct field assessment.
