Tezpur, November 11, 2025 (Tuesday): The literary landscape of Assam witnessed a memorable moment today as Gautam Sarmah, Sub Divisional Engineer from Kaliabor and native of Tezpur, unveiled his first English fiction novel, “Always But Not Forever,” in Tezpur during the ongoing “Year of Books 2025” celebration. The highly anticipated event drew an impressive group of guests from varied spheres of art and academia.
The launch was elevated by the presence of renowned personalities including Arghadeep Baruah, acclaimed actor of the movie Aamis, and celebrated author Kaushik N. Baruah of Niribili.
