Tezpur, June 13, 2025 (Friday): In a significant move towards enhancing career opportunities for its students, Darrang College, Tezpur, has officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Edupur Foundation on 13th June, 2025. This strategic partnership aims to bolster student placements, training programs, and career counseling services within the institution.
The MoU signing ceremony took place on the college premises in the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Palashmoni Saikia, Principal of Darrang College; Amit Raj Konwar, Director of Edupur Foundation; Mrs. Sweta Mahanta, IQAC Coordinator of Darrang College; and Subhasish Ghosh, Project Head at Edupur Foundation, alongside other faculty members and representatives from both institutions.
This collaboration is a proactive step towards bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world employment opportunities, ensuring students are better prepared for the challenges of today’s competitive job market. With Edupur Foundation’s domain expertise in employment services and training, the partnership is expected to bring structured, professional, and result-driven placement support to students across various disciplines.
