Tezpur, May 25 : Tezpur woke up to the unfortunate news of Ward Commisioner, Sher Alam’s untimely demise.
Ward Commisioner of Ward No. 1, Tezpur Municipal Board, Mr. Sher Alam recently undergone Bypass Heart surgery at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Bengaluru and was recovering well. On May 24, at around 10:40 pm, Mr. Alam lost the battle to his life in Bengaluru.
Late Sher Alam won as an Independent Candidate of Ward No. 1 of Tezpur Municipal Elections 2022 and later joined Asom Gana Parishad.
