Tezpur boy selected to represent Assam at the Parliament | Pays homage to national leaders

In yet another pride moment, Shivanshu Chakraborty student of Bsc 1st semester from Darrang College was selected to pay homage to our national leaders at the Parliament of India on December 25, 2022. The program was hosted by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India in collaboration with Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies, Lok Sabha Secretariat.

Shivanshu, son of Dr Shankar Chakraborty & Mrs Mallika Chakraborty, is a resident of Barikachubori, Bamungaon, Tezpur. He was selected to represent Assam at the Parliament by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Tezpur.

As many as 25 young participants were selected from across the country in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, to pay tributes to Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya and Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Selected participants also expressed their views with on the two leaders.
