A Special Athletics Training Camp, organized by the Office of the District Sports Officer in Sonitpur, kicked off on August 20 at the Biharguri Mini Stadium and will run until August 29. The inaugural ceremony saw the presence of District Sports Officer Sri Pranjal Dehingia, alongside several former players and sports organizers. The event marked a promising start with around 90 athletes participating on the first day.
The three-week camp aims to nurture local athletic talent and provide intensive training to aspiring sportspersons. With the involvement of experienced sports figures and organizers, the camp is expected to offer valuable insights and guidance to the participants.
